Extremely important for all of us to know how to make decent decisions and how to negotiate. Especially if you move around in business world. Next life I want to be a negotiation coach because we human are practically wired to do the wrong thing much of the time so there is much need for improvement. For now I will make my small contribution by posting some of what I think makes sense.
Tip #1. Don’t answer every question that you are asked. First decide if it is necessary and if it helps or hurts you. Think of questions as clever attempts to get valuable information from you. As the great singer Ruth Brown says ” If I can’t sell it, I’m gonna sit down on it. I ain’t gonna give it away.
